November 27 is Black Friday. Almost every well-known webshop has a large number of products on offer. Discounts can be as high as 50% or more. Black Friday also often guarantees good offers for wireless and smart speakers. Are you planning to buy a speaker soon? Then Black Friday is the right time.
Wireless speakers, including smart speakers with built-in voice assistants, were very popular last year, especially during Black Friday. Also this year we expect many good deals for these devices. Now that our homes are getting smarter, the need for voice control is also increasing, as well as regular wireless Wi-Fi or bluetooth speakers have been popular for years during this period.
Last year
Last year, Google was one of the largest companies with good offers for smart speakers. Both the Nest Home as the Nest Home Mini went over the counter with about 25% discount. Also the Nest Hub, with built-in screen, was considerably cheaper than usual.
But Google was by no means alone. The Sonos One was one of the most sold products during Black Friday 2019, and brands such as Bose, Bowers & Wilkins and Dali are also putting smart speakers on the market for a lower price. We expect similar deals from all these companies this year, so if you want to buy a new speaker, it is very worthwhile to wait.
This year
This year, Google’s smart speakers will again be on sale. We expect the same kind of deals as last year: the Home Mini for about thirty euros, the regular Home for about sixty euros and the Nest Hub for the same amount. We also expect a lot from Amazon, and specifically the Echo speaker, with built-in Alexa assistant. This speaker has recently become available via Amazon.nl
Furthermore, the brands that were present last year will undoubtedly be back this year. The Sonos One and various JBL speakers, among others, will undoubtedly go out for rock-bottom prices.
