BMW comes with a limited M4 Competition x Kith

BMW is going to market a limited version of the M4 Competition in collaboration with the American fashion brand Kith. As of today, the special variant, which has various cosmetic adjustments, can be reserved. Then you have to be quick: BMW only builds 150 units.

Ronnie Fieg, the founder of Kith, is a big BMW enthusiast. In turn, the Munich brand is increasingly collaborating with artists and the fashion world in order to reach a new, mainly younger target group. At the beginning of this year, artist Futura 2000 was allowed to enjoy himself on a number of M2’s. With this M4 Competition, the adjustments are a bit more subtle, but still clearly visible. From the outside, the special is best recognized by the adapted logos. The boot lid has ‘Kith’ written out with the M stripes in front. In addition, the BMW logo on the hood has a special edge to emphasize the collaboration. Furthermore, the ‘Kith’ logo is applied in cow letters to the carbon roof of the M4. This is not a simple sticker, but the letters are woven into the carbon fiber. The limited edition is available in three matte colors: the featured ‘Frozen Black’, ‘Frozen Dark Silver’ and ‘Frozen Brilliant White’.

Such adjustments are continued in the interior. The Kith logo can also be seen on the iDrive controller, as well as in the headrests of the bucket seats. Those seats are partly decorated in the M colors, which looks very flashy. The center armrest is also stitched in a unique pattern. It remains with adjustments at the level of detail, because the technology and the body of the M4 Competition remain unchanged. The six-cylinder in-line engine still delivers 510 hp and 650 Nm, making it by no means a wretch. They also did not opt for this car to use the M Performance bumpers. The controversial grille is of course there. If that is not your thing, there may be something to be done about it soon.

BMW Netherlands mentions that three copies of the special M4 are coming to our country. Pricing is expected to follow in November, also for the regular variants. In America the ‘M4 Competition x Kith’ will cost € 92,284 converted. For reference: a standard M4 Competition is available there from € 63,099.
