Use the Caliber program to manage ebooks on the Mac. Easily add books to your tablet or e-reader from Caliber’s library.

Caliber is a free computer program for organizing ebooks. These books can then also be copied to the e-reader or tablet. Caliber is available for Mac and works with almost all types of e-readers.

Following is the description for downloading and installing the program.

  • Click the button above To download.
  • The Caliber web page opens.
  • click on Download caliber.
  • click on Allow if the question appears whether you want to allow downloads.

The file is downloaded. Follow the steps below once the download is complete.

  • Click the circle with arrow icon at the top right of the browser window Use the Caliber program to manage ebooks on the Mac.
  • Double click on caliber-4.20.0.dmg.
  • A window opens. Click here caliber, hold down the mouse button and drag the Caliber icon to ‘Applications’. Release the mouse button when ‘Applications’ turns blue.

The program is on the Mac. Open the program to set it up.

  • Open Finder from the smiley face icon on the Dock Finder in the Dock.
  • click on Programs or apps.
  • Double click on the program caliber.
  • A message asking if you are sure to open the program displays. click on Open.

Finally, adjust a few more settings:

  • Click on the drop-down menu behind ‘Choose your language’ (English for ‘Choose your language’) and click on Dutch (Dutch).
  • If necessary, adjust the place where the books are stored. Click on Change, navigate to the right place and click Open.
  • click on Next one.
  • Choose your eReader. To do this, click the name of the products in the left pane and then the device type in the right pane.
  • click on Next one.
  • Check the box if prompted Enable the Content Server to wirelessly access the Caliber book collection.
  • click on Next one.
  • click on Complete.

The program opens and you can get started.
