Citroën ë-Berlingo Van
The Citroën ë-Berlingo Van will be available from the fourth quarter. The electric van offers the same options as the fuel-powered Berlingo, but can enter any environmental zone.
After the ë-Jumpy and ë-Jumper, the third electric commercial vehicle from Citroën is a fact. This Citroën ë-Berlingo Van also makes no compromises in terms of cargo space or practicality. In the meantime, drivers do have the advantages of electric driving: quiet, no vibrations, fast acceleration, limited running costs and access to all environmental zones.
The electric Berlingo Van can be ordered later this year in sizes M and XL. The first is 4.40 meters long, of which 1.81 meters is the cargo area. The second measures 4.75 meters with 2.16 meters of cargo space. You can transport two Euro pallets; the space in the rear is 3.3 and 4.4 m respectively3. The payload is up to 800 kg. Two or three people fit in the front.
Range, battery pack and electric motor
Whether you choose the M or XL, the ë-Berlingo van comes with a 50 kWh battery pack. This will take you, according to the WLTP test, up to 275 km. Fast charging to 80 percent of the capacity can be done in half an hour. The Citroën Commercial Vehicle dealers will offer the necessary charging solutions. The battery has a warranty of 8 years or 160,000 km.
Citroën ë-Berlingo Van
The electric motor can produce 100 kW, which is equivalent to 136 hp. The top speed is limited to 135 km / h. The Citroën ë-Berlingo Van has a switch on the center console, with which the driving mode (Normal, Eco or Power) can be selected. With the button you also control the positions of the transmission; switching itself is unnecessary. The other electrical functions can be operated via the virtual Energy button on the touchscreen. This can also be done remotely using the MyCitroën app.
