The world is a new hypercar manufacturer richer. It is the all-new American Elation Hypercars that immediately presents its firstborn: the Freedom. The Elation Freedom is an electric extremist with not one, not two, but three electric motors.
The Elation Freedom is an electric hypercar built around a carbon fiber monoque. Despite its electric powertrain, the 4.5-meter-long winged newcomer has a relatively modest weight of 1,650 kilos. The Freedom will have three electric motors that – depending on the chosen version – deliver 1,444 hp or 1,930 hp. A sprint to a speed of 100 km / h manages to complete the colossus on paper in a crazy 1.8 seconds. Its top speed: 418 km / h. Depending on the chosen version, there is a battery pack of 100 kWh or 120 kWh in the bottom of the Freedom. The electric preview should be able to achieve an electric range of 482 kilometers or 644 kilometers.
The four-wheel drive Freedom stands on 20-inch alloy with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber folded around it. Behind the wheels is Brembo’s brakes. Although the Freedom is a hypercar, it promises not to be scant on board. The interior is richly decorated with carbon fiber and leather and various types of metal are used for the buttons. Of course, everything can be adjusted to your taste. To suffer from range anxiety? No problem. The $ 2 million electric Freedom will be joined by the Freedom Iconic Collection. That version will get a 5.2-liter V10 from Audi that apparently manages to kick to more than 750 hp without turbo. It does not say how the company does this. We do know that the ten-cylinder is linked to an S-tronic automatic transmission from Audi. This version with petrol engine thunders to a speed of 100 km / h in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of – yes – 386 km / h.
