Economical without a plug: the Renault CLIO Hybrid
The new Renault CLIO Hybrid has a combustion engine and two powerful electric motors, which make it possible to drive electrically in built-up areas up to 80% of the time and thus save up to 40% on fuel. The hybrid technology makes this Renault not only nice and fast, but also very economical. The battery of the Renault CLIO Hybrid is charged during the journey so that no energy is lost.
Economical with a plug: the Renault CAPTUR and MEGANE Plug-in Hybrid
The next step is the plug-in hybrid, such as the new Renault CAPTUR Plug-in Hybrid and the new Renault MEGANE Estate Plug-in Hybrid. Both models have two electric motors, which, in combination with the petrol engine, generate 117 kW / 159 hp. An 8-speed automatic is standard. Thanks to the large battery, the electric range in the city is up to 65 kilometers, in the combined WLTP cycle that is 50 kilometers. That is more than enough for many of the daily journeys and you are always able to drive emission-free.
Fully electric: the Renault TWINGO Electric and the Renault ZOE
No more refueling and just charging? This is possible with the new Renault TWINGO Electric and the Renault ZOE. The TWINGO Electric feels at home in the city, where it can travel up to 270 km. But this economical EV (Electric Vehicle) can also do longer journeys with ease, thanks to its range of 190 km. The larger, but also very efficient Renault ZOE has more battery capacity, good for a range of 395 km (WLTP). These two electric models are free of bpm and mrb and the maintenance costs are minimal. Add to this the smooth and quiet driving comfort of an electric motor and you understand the enthusiasm of the owners.
