First prizes Opel Mokka and Mokka-e announced

Opel has announced the first prizes of the all-new Mokka and electric Mokka-e. The Mokka is available from € 26,299. The Mokka-e is considerably more expensive.

The brand new Opel Mokka marks an important new era for Opel. Not only because of the new design language debuting on the crossover, but also because it now has an electrically powered high-legged one in its range. With the Mokka-e, Opel hopes to respond to the two biggest trends of our time in one fell swoop: electric driving and crossovers. To get straight to the point: from € 35,399 you can experience it, that is the price that Opel asks for the Mokka-e. More than € 9,000 more than the starting price of the Mokka with combustion engine. According to the WLTP cycle, the 136 hp strong Mokka-e must be able to travel 322 km on a full battery.

The entry-level model of the new (non-electric) Mokka is the 1.2 Turbo. It has a 100 hp three-cylinder in its sleek nose that is linked to a manual six-speed gearbox and, as said, is available from € 26,299. For this you get the standard Edition version, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Lane Positioning, traffic sign recognition and LED lighting all around. A step higher in the range is the 130 hp version of the same 1.2 Turbo. In addition to the manual gearbox, it is also available with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The additional cost will be announced at a later date. The price of the Mokka with diesel engine (a 110 hp 1.5) will also follow at a later date. When all these prices are there, Opel opens the order books.
