Ford Puma officially cheaper and more expensive

In September Techzle managed to get their hands on the prices of a new basic version of the Ford Puma and the sporty Ford Puma ST. Those prices are now confirmed by Ford.

To start with the ST: the Ford Puma ST costs as predicted € 40,725. For that money you get your Puma with the fierce, 200 hp three-cylinder from the Fiesta ST. This ensures that the Puma goes from 0 to 100 in 6.7 seconds, at a top of 220 km / h. Of course, the car has been made more sporty all around, with significant changes in the exterior, interior and chassis. You can read all about it here. Those who want it even sportier can tick the Performance Pack for € 1,115. This offers ‘shift lights’ that indicate the correct moment to shift, Launch Control and – most importantly – a mechanical limited slip differential. A Puma ST with these facilities therefore costs at least € 41,840.

The Ford Puma Connected is now also officially launched. At € 23,975, this entry-level version is no less than € 16,750 cheaper than the ST, but you also sacrifice something for that. 105 hp, to begin with, because the Connected kicks it thanks to a 1.0 Ecoboost to 95 hp. In addition, the car naturally looks a lot tamer and lacks the necessary facilities, but the Connected is not bare either. Ford, for example, mounts the Sync 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, DAB + radio, Apple Carplay and Android auto as standard. The car also gets the necessary safety systems, including a lane assistant and traffic sign recognition. Add to that four electric windows, air conditioning and cruise control and there is a car that is very easy to live with.
