Jeep is working on a completely new Grand Cherokee. It is that soon to the smallest nipple redesigned SUV that now better than ever before has appeared.
Anyone in the market for a large SUV will soon find the Grand Cherokee at Jeep. Even in the United States, it is the largest SUV the brand offers, but not in China! The Chinese consumer can also go for the Grand Commander. Soon there will be other cards on the table. Jeep does not only come with a production version of the Grand Wagoneer Concept, but also squeezes between the Grand Cherokee and that newcomer a normal Wagoneer. The Grand Cherokee will soon have two models above it in the United States, but the Grand Cherokee itself will not be skipped in the innovation drive.
The new Grand Cherokee is also quite welcome, as the current model was already introduced to the market in the second half of 2010. The new Grand Cherokee will probably be installed on a modified version of the Giorgio platform from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. You may know that base in the Netherlands from the Giulia and the Stelvio. The Grand Cherokee will probably also receive a plug-in hybrid variant, given FCA’s increasing attention to electrification. Jeep wouldn’t be Jeep if it didn’t include six and eight cylinders on the delivery list. You can also count on the arrival of a powerful SRT version.
It also seems that Jeep is marketing the Grand Cherokee in two lengths. The largest of the bunch will not be a five-seater like its shorter brother, but a seven-seater with three rows of seats.
