Lexus is working towards a range of all-electric models that should be on the market by 2030. One of these is in the spotlight for the second time in a short time: the Electrified Sport Concept, a car in the spirit of the LFA.

In mid-December, Toyota and Lexus opened a huge can of electric concept cars. At Lexus, one car was prominently featured in the front: this Electrified Sport. Last week we got to see more of that, but now Lexus is taking it one step further. The electric sports coupé was allowed (virtually of course) on the public road and can now be admired from various angles.

It should be clear that Lexus is taking quite a different design direction with the car it describes itself as the spiritual successor to the LFA. The sharp folds and large grilles that we know from Lexus do not return on the almost Supra-like body of the Electrified Sport. It really is a Lexus of the future generation, where electric drive predominates.

As Lexus previously revealed, we can count on a 0-100 km/h sprint for the production version, which is completed in roughly 2 seconds. It is also interesting that Lexus wants to use solid state batteries and thus considers a driving range of more than 700 km possible. Undoubtedly, the iconic scream of the V10 from the LFA will be a loss, but it is impressive technology.
