New CEO for Renault

Tax relief for Luca de Meo

Fabrice Cambolive RENAULT

Car brand Renault has a new CEO. As of February 1, 2023, Fabrice Cambolive can call itself the new CEO of Renault. Until then, Luca de Meo is still on the throne.

Luca de Meo is a busy owner. De Meo was recently appointed president of the international automotive industry association ACEA, but is of course above all the CEO of the Renault Group. That is not the only thing, Luca de Meo is also CEO of the Renault car brand. But not for long. Fabrice Cambolive has been appointed as the new top man and takes that part away from Luca de Meo’s enormous range of tasks.

54-year-old Fabrice Cambolive is no stranger to Renault. He joined Renault Group in the early 1990s and in 2011 was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Eurasia Region and Renault Russia. In 2015, Cambolive moved to South America, where he took the helm of Renault do Brasil. Two years later, Cambolive was allowed to call itself Director of Operations of the ‘Africa, Middle East, Asia and the Pacific’ region and in 2021 Renault became Director of Sales and Operations of the Renault car brand. In 2022, Cambolive made it to COO of Renault and has now risen again to a position with only one letter difference: CEO.
