New Ram 700 presented

Ram has added a new pickup to its South and Central American delivery range. It’s about the 700, a car that is more Fiat than Ram.

Ram already has several models in its delivery range that are not actually Ram at all. The ProMaster is a Ducato, the ProMaster City is a Fiat Doblo and the Ram 1000 is a Fiat Toro. Also a buddy under the 1000 Ram has a borrowed model: the 700. The current Ram 700 is still based on the previous generation of the Fiat Strada, but that Fiat was renewed to the tiniest nut at the beginning of this year. Today it is the turn of the Ram 700.

The Ram 700 is almost identical to the Strada. Ram has just taken the trouble to give the 700 its own grille, a specimen with a horizontal element above which the brand name Ram is written in large. Just like the appearance, the engines are also identical to those of the Strada, which means that a 109 hp and 139 Nm blown 1.3 and an 88 hp and 123 Nm strong 1.4, an old Fire engine, will be added to the order list. .

Should we also expect the compact Ram in the Netherlands? Well, no. Although the previous Fiat Strada was delivered in our country and so there is a vague connection with the 700 on the Dutch car market, Ram does not ship the new pick-up to our part of the world.
