Now on the Stadia Store: Free Multiplayer Demo of From Space

The studio behind It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains is currently working hard on From Space, a game that should be released in the first quarter of 2022. Now, though, there’s already a sneak peek at Stadia in the form of the game’s first multiplayer demo.

The story of From Space is somewhat simple, but very nice: A swarm of meteors has been chased across the galaxy for millennia by aliens, who have become addicted to the consumption of energy-rich crystals. The energy consumption of the crystals once gave the aliens wisdom and power, but has corrupted and mutated the species. They have turned into zombie-like creatures that will destroy everything in their path to get even a grain of the crystals. The meteors are racing through space and Earth is the next planet in its path…

From Space

Dangerous situations, but you don’t have to face them alone. From Space is an online co-op game where you and a team of friends take on the challenge of ridding the Earth of that brain-hungry plague. You have to explore the world and help the resistance gain ground against the invaders. Improve skills and build your arsenal of weapons as you explore every corner of this post-apocalyptic world.

You’re under constant threat, but there’s more your team needs to do to be successful. The military has developed prototype weapons that harness the power of the energy crystals using the grenades of autonomous thermonuclear drones. However, the weapons are not fully developed and must be charged by the squad and guided to their destination to deal the most damage.

Triangle Studios

So enough to do. Triangle Studios has not announced much about the demo, so we don’t know until when it will be released. It reads: “After consent is revoked or the availability period has expired, the demo game will no longer be available to play or as part of your Stadia library.” So, gather your friends online and try this game out while you still can.
