Overfinch celebrates American anniversary with special edition

Range Rover breeder Overfinch has been active in the American market for five years. To celebrate this first anniversary, the tuner has given the Range Rover Autobiography LWB its own sauce: the Sandringham Edition. Five copies are being built, not surprisingly all of which are destined for America.

Overfinch has previously indulged in the renewed Range Rover. For the Sandringham Edition, the tuner from Leeds, England, clearly opts for a more subtle approach. It is painted in Nebula Black, black with a hint of purple. That color is also carried through to the 22-inch wheels. The body kit is unchanged, which means that the front bumper looks relatively subtle. Only the air intakes have become a bit bigger. The side skirts have also been slightly changed, with Overfinch giving the ‘slots’ in the front doors their own interpretation. Less subtle is the rear bumper, which with a large diffuser and ditto exhausts does not exactly hide its presence under seats or sofas. Those exhausts have also been adapted and equipped with a variable valve system. This should allow the supercharged V8 to sound even more aggressive if desired.

Exactly how much power that V8 has, Overfinch does not mention. There are two variants available for the Range Rover LWB, of which most likely the strongest variant with 565 hp is under the hood. In the interior of the Range Rover, Overfinch has removed the leather and replaced it with its own trim. White leather is standard for the Sandringham Edition, with a diamond pattern on the seats and in the doors. To complete the match with the exterior, dark purple details are present on the armrests and the lines on the seats. The woolly floor mats are also in that color. Furthermore, Overfinch has re-milled the door handles and the rotary knob of the machine and provided them with a pattern.

The Range Rover logos have been replaced with copies of Overfinch to further emphasize that you don’t just roll into a thirteen-in-a-dozen Range. In the interior of the Sandringham Edition is a plaque that indicates which of the five copies you are dealing with. Overfinch is not going to build more of it.
