Porsche presents the Taycan Cross Turismo on Thursday. Unfortunately for the Germans, two photos have already surfaced showing the more spacious Taycan.
How the photos of the Taycan Cross Turismo got onto the internet is not entirely clear. We ran into them Instagram and it looks like they are at AutoBild to come from. In any case, there is no doubt about one thing: this really is the Taycan Cross Turismo. As you can clearly see, the Cross Turismo largely follows the lines of the regular Taycan below the window line, but above that the carriage runs higher and that makes it a real station wagon-like. The tailgate provides access to a luggage compartment that undoubtedly exceeds the 366 liter capacity of the regular Taycan. Furthermore, the car is a bit higher on its wheels and various plastic accents on the bumpers and around the wheel arches provide an extra adventurous touch.
In this case, it concerns the Taycan Cross Turismo 4S with 93.4 kWh battery pack and a 571 hp and 650 Nm strong powertrain. Above this are the 680 hp Turbo and the Turbo S with 761 hp power. In all cases, the car has four-wheel drive. Whether there will also be a Taycan Sport Turismo, which is at ‘normal’ height and does not partly hide its bodywork under plastic, is not yet certain.
