Prices Citroën C5 X: from €37,490

The Citroën C5 X has a starting price of €37,490. For that amount you get the keys to the C5 X with 130 hp 1.2 PureTech 130. It is a petrol engine that, like all other powertrains, is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The starting price of €37,490 applies to the Business version aimed at the business driver. The C5 X PureTech 130 in Business Plus trim will set you back €40,390. You have to pay the same amount for the Feel variant for the private driver. Citroën also supplies the C5 X with a 180 hp PureTech petrol engine, which is only available as a Business Plus. The starting price is €43,190.

Perhaps more interesting is the plug-in hybrid powertrain that Citroën has put on the price list. The C5 X Hybrid 225 costs €42,290 as a Business. In the richer equipped Business Plus trim you will lose €45,190. Not interested in one of the business Business versions, but would you like a C5 X with a plug-in hybrid powertrain? Don’t worry, Citroën also supplies the C5 X 225 Hybrid as a Feel (€45,190) and Shine (€47,990). The Hybrid 225 powertrain consists of a 180 hp 1.6 PureTech petrol engine and an electric power source that brings the system power to 225 hp and 360 Nm. You can drive it electrically for about 50 kilometers.

The standard equipment of the C5 X includes Citroën Connect Nav, DAB+, Advanced Comfort Seats and an extensive package of safety systems. The Shine version adds, among other things, adaptive cruise control with stop&go function, an extensive head-up display, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a 360-degree camera. Standard equipment also includes leather upholstery, an induction charger, a heated steering wheel, LED mood lighting and electrically adjustable and heated front seats with a memory function for the driver’s seat.
