Even before Volkswagen has publicized it, Techzle is the first to receive the prices of the renewed Tiguan. The facelifted Tiguan has a starting price of € 36,390.
In the middle of this year, Volkswagen carried out a facelift on both the Tiguan and the Arteon. Volkswagen recently released the first prices of the Arteon and Techzle can now be the first to report which prices Wolfsburg charges for the renewed Tiguan.
Gasoline
The facelifted Tiguan has a starting price of € 36,390. That amount is for the Tiguan with the 130 hp 1.5 TSI under the hood, the basic engine that is always linked to a manual six-speed gearbox. The entry price mentioned concerns the Life version. He is also there as Life Business. In that case, the Tiguan costs € 37,140. Volkswagen also puts a more powerful version of the 1.5 TSI on the price list, a 150 hp power source that is available with both manual and DSG7 automatic transmission. The manual version has a starting price of € 38,190 as Life. Prefer the DSG transmission? Then count on an amount of at least € 40,690.

Diesel
Of course there are also diesel engines on the program. The renewed Tiguan is available with a 150 hp 2.0 TDI that is always linked to a DSG7 automatic transmission. The 2.0 TDI is available with and without the 4Motion drive. The entry-level model, the front-wheel drive Life, has an entry-level price of € 49,630. For the 150 hp 2.0 TDI with 4Motion drive you will lose at least € 58,600. Then you immediately drive the Elegance version.

Of course it does not stop with the aforementioned engine versions. The updated Tiguan is also available with a 2.0 TSI, which can be ordered in two power versions. The 2.0 TSI always linked to the DSG automatic transmission is available with 190 hp and 245 hp. The 190 hp version will come in February next year, while the 245 hp version will be ready in December. The 2.0 TSIs are only available in conjunction with the Elegance and R-Line versions.
Just as interesting is the plug-in hybrid. This Tiguan 1.4 TSI eHybrid has a 245 hp powertrain and will be on the market in December this year. The plug-in Tiguan is only available in the Elegance and R-Line Business trim levels. Thanks to a 13 kWh battery pack, the eHybrid has an electric range of about 50 kilometers.
The diesel list will already be expanded in October with the R-Line version of the 150 hp 2.0 TDI with 4Motion drive. Volkswagen will also put the 200 hp and 4Motion-powered 2.0 TDI on the order list next month.
