Renault Koleos becomes a two-seater that likes noodles

Special metamorphosis

Samsung QM6 2021

The Renault Koleos undergoes a special metamorphosis via a detour. The SUV becomes a two-seater! No, the Koleos will not be a sports coupé or speedster, but a commercial vehicle with an LPG tank on board.

The Renault Koleos has been discontinued for several years in the Netherlands. The second generation Koleos was presented in 2016 and came on the market here in 2017, but disappeared from the Dutch delivery range at the end of 2020. The QM6 is simply available in other European countries and the car still exists outside Europe. In South Korea even without Renault badges. Until recently, the SUV was known as Samsung QM6, but Samsung Motors is now simply called Renault Korea Motors. It still bears the Samsung logos and is not called Koleos there, but QM6. It will soon turn into a real company car.

Samsung QM6 Quest

Fill it up!

Renault Korea Motors releases the first sketches of a QM6 converted into a delivery van, which it has christened the QM6 Quest. The QM6 Quest has no rear seat, which means that the two-seater van has a spacious luggage compartment. The QM6 Quest swallows 1,413 liters. The volume of the luggage compartment is not only displayed in liters, but also in boxes of noodles. According to Renault Korea Motors you can store ’70 boxes of windows’ in the QM6 Quest and that’s a fact we didn’t want to deny you.

The ‘Renault’ QM6 Quest gets a petrol engine under the hood that also likes LPG. The QM6 is already available in South Korea with a machine that can handle LPG. It has a 140 hp 2.0 four-cylinder. Renault Korea Motors speaks of an average consumption of 8.6 l/100 km and a range of 534 kilometers. This means you can travel from Seoul to Busan, complete with 70 boxes of noodles.
