If you work with photos a lot, you can use the built-in editor of iOS, but for photo enthusiasts Snapseed wins.

snap seed 2A

You can edit photos with Snapseed, such as cropping, adjusting color contrast and saturation, but you also have access to a good amount of filters.

The app is free. There is an automatic mode available for many of the options (where the optimization takes place automatically), but also a manual mode. This is useful for those who want more control over the editing.

The makers have built in a small 30 tools and filters. For example, there are visual effects, such as lens blur and glow, as well as more basic options such as adjusting white balance and converting to grayscale. The makers offer the possibility to point out specific points in the image, after which you can improve it. The rest of the image is then adjusted automatically, based on those self-chosen points. If you have created a theme yourself, you can save the settings to apply it to other photos later. There is also support for RAW photos.

Some of the technology found in other Google products (such as the Pixel phone) is also available through this app. A good example of this is the function equalize. This option allows you to remove unwanted elements from a photo. For example, if you have a group photo, you can remove a specific person.
