Volkswagen Amarok
Volkswagen presented a sketch of the new Amarok when presenting its annual figures. The design of the pretty rough looking car is as good as finished.
Volkswagen is working on a completely new Amarok. The pick-up will have a successor within a few years and the first sketch, which Volkswagen showed when presenting its annual figures, shows that the design is almost ready. Although the car looks pretty rough in the drawing, the basic design is already clearly visible. The grille, headlights, the lines on the side: we will see them all again, only in a slightly milder form.
The new Amarok is being developed in collaboration with Ford. It is part of a broader collaboration in the field of commercial vehicles. The Amarok is the first fruit of that collaboration. Ford will build the successor to the Ranger on the same basis.
It is not yet known when the new Amarok will be released. It will probably be late next year or early 2022 before the car is for sale in the Netherlands.
