TempMail – Disposable Mail

If you’re a regular on the web, you’ll know how often your email address is asked to sign up for a new account or make a purchase. Every time you do that, you risk even more spam and ads in your inbox. A disposable e-mail address will come in handy.

With TempMail you get a temporary e-mail address without revealing your identification data and without a built-in timer. This service comes from the same house as 10 Minute Mail, by the way, to which there is a link on TempMail. The difference is that you receive an email address from 10 Minute Mail that expires within ten minutes. After that you will lose all emails in the inbox.

To the clipboard

TempMail randomly generates an email address that you can use for all sorts of purposes: new accounts, newsletters, subscriptions… And you don’t have to worry about your real email address becoming known. The web page produces an email address that you can copy to your clipboard.

If you use this web service on the mobile phone, you can generate a QR code that you can scan. By the way, TempMail also comes in app form for iOS and Android.

You can change the email address with the Refresh button

Receive only

The Tempmail inbox looks and functions like all mail programs, except you can’t send e-mails yourself. You read the sender and subject and when you click View click, you can read the shipping date and content. Then you download the mail to the hard drive via the button Download or you delete it with the button delete. If you choose the first option, you will receive an .eml file that you can open with a regular e-mail client.

Without password

If you later receive emails at this disposable address, you can read them by visiting the TempMail website. It remembers your email address, so no password is required.

TempMail is free, but the website is bursting with advertising. It disappears if you take out a premium account of ten dollars a month. That is expensive, but then you can use ten email addresses at the same time and you have 100 MB of storage space for messages.

Conclusion

This is a solid disposable email service. The service stores the emails for about two hours and deletes all personal information, such as your IP address, when you’re done.

You read the mail as in a regular mail client.
