This iPhone trick brings lightning fast light into the darkness

The flashlight on your iPhone is perhaps one of the device’s most underrated features. It is super handy to always have a flashlight at hand. You never know when the power goes out. In this article we explain how you can quickly provide light in the darkness.

There are plenty of times when a flashlight comes in handy. It is all the more convenient to activate it as soon as possible. There is a handy trick for this on your iPhone. How that works is like this:

Turn on iPhone flashlight at lightning speed

Since the arrival of iOS 14, it is possible to set two shortcuts when you tap the back of your iPhone. The shortcut is then executed after two or three taps on the back. This is how you set it up.

Go to your iPhone’s settings and open Accessibility. Press Touch and scroll down. Then switch Tap back in. Select at Double tap or at Tap three times the Flashlight. We ourselves would opt for three taps, so that the flashlight does not turn on too easily.

A tap here, a tap there

Once set up, you only need to tap the back of your iPhone two or three times to activate the flashlight. It does not matter which app you have opened. In addition to the flashlight, you can set another shortcut, so that you can also use another app or function at lightning speed.

For example, set a shortcut to the camera. This way you’ll always be ready in no time to shoot the most beautiful photos. Or set up a shortcut to take a screenshot so you don’t have to hold your hand in an awkward position to take one. super easy!
