The iPhone 14 Pro has yet to appear, but the first unboxing video is already shining on YouTube. Not of the real iPhone 14 Pro, but of a “one-to-one replica” of Apple’s upcoming flagship.
Video with iPhone 14 Pro
The video comes from the YouTube channel Unbox Therapy, and already gives a picture of the iPhone 14 Pro. The replicas are based on detailed CAD drawings that case makers have been given.
CAD drawings detail the dimensions and technical details of the iPhones. Case makers use these drawings to create cases that fit your iPhone perfectly. Now these drawings have been used to create accurate replicas of the iPhone 14 Pro.
The notch is gone
From 5:10 we see the renewed front of the iPhone, which is in line with previous rumors. The characteristic notch has disappeared and two recesses are returned. One is pill-shaped, the other circular. This is where Apple will house the selfie camera and Face ID components.
At the back, it is noticeable that the camera module has grown a bit again. The hump is larger in both height and width and protrudes more. This is also consistent with previous rumours. The reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo already reported that the size of the module is increasing, thanks to the renewed 48-megapixel camera.
Furthermore, the iPhone 14 Pro is very similar to its predecessor. But if you zoom in on details, you will notice some small adjustments. For example, the antenna bands are missing on the sides. The power buttons and volume buttons would also be slightly larger.
Four new iPhones
It is rumored that four new iPhones will be released this year. Something changes in the formats, because a successor to the iPhone 13 mini is not forthcoming. The regular iPhones are the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max, which seem to differ little from their predecessor.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max change a lot more spectacularly. So the design changes, as you saw in the video above. In addition, Apple introduces an impressive 48-megapixel camera.
