Owners of the Samsung Galaxy A71 can look forward to a new Android version. Samsung has started rolling out Android 12.

Google launched Android 12 in October of 2021 and Samsung was quick to roll out its own version, One UI 4, to various Galaxy phones. After a short test period, the Galaxy S21, the S21 Plus or S21 Ultra were the first in the Netherlands. Other high-end smartphones followed after that. It is currently the turn of midrange phones to be equipped with Android 12, such as the Samsung Galaxy A52s.
Now it’s the turn of the Galaxy A71 in Hong Kong and that means that the rollout of Android 12 for this popular phone has started. The update will soon also visit the Netherlands and Belgium. Samsung has shown its variant of Android 12, One UI 4, in an extensive video. In the software shell we see, among other things, Material You, the new Android 12 theme with dynamic colors based on your background. Samsung offers a number of color palettes for this, so you can change the appearance of your smartphone: from the start screen to the icons, menus, buttons and background. There are also new privacy features, widgets, and camera improvements. In addition, there is a wider range of emoji, GIFs and stickers. Samsung Galaxy A71
The Samsung Galaxy A71 was announced in 2019 with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 730 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and a 4500 mAh battery. The phone came on the market with Android 10 and received an update to Android 11 in March of 2021 and now the next new Android version is just around the corner.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 received a suggested retail price of 469 euros and is still for sale at bol.com† The Galaxy A72 is more available and costs 449 euros. Waiting for the Samsung Galaxy A73 is also an option. That phone will be announced this year.
