Every year in the United States of America and in several countries, the month of June is dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community. This is celebrated by Apple with special Apple Watch straps and a new watch face.
This year the Cupertino company is releasing only one new Pride Edition strap out for Apple Watch. For example, you can purchase a braided solo strap in a special Pride design; and is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 and newer.

The new Pride Edition braided solo band represents the fortitude and beauty of LGBTQ+ communities. The vibrant design in fluorescent colors is based on various Pride flags and features the laser inscription ‘PRIDE 2024’. The colors black and brown represent black, Hispanic and Latin American communities, as well as victims of HIV/AIDS. Pink, light blue and white represent transgender and non-binary people.

The new Pride Radiance watch face and wallpapers for iOS and iPadOS provide Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad with bold, symbolic colors. The rays of light glowing against a dark background represent hope, strength and the connection with LGBTQ+ communities. The overlapping rays represent the lasting impact of the fight for LGBTQ+ interests and its value in paving a path to greater equality for future generations.
Users can personalize their watch face and backgrounds with different colors. On Apple Watch, the colors follow the contours of the numbers on the watch face. They respond in real time to wrist movements, which is made possible by the gyroscope. On iPhone and iPad, colored beams of light form the word “Pride,” with dynamic movements when the device is unlocked. The new Pride Radiance watch face and wallpapers for iPhone and iPad will be available soon in watchOS 10.5, iOS 17.5, and iPadOS 17.5.
