Of course we love our iPhone very much, but there is always room for improvement. Then you can, for example, look at what the competition is actually doing. Android therefore has a number of functions that we hope Apple will include in an upcoming update.
Android and iOS are the biggest mobile operating systems in the world, so they’re definitely doing something right. Nevertheless, the companies behind these systems can still learn a thing or two from each other.
5 Android features Apple should bring to iPhone
Looking at what the competition is doing well is always a good way to improve your own product. We think Apple should implement these 5 features on Android phones on the iPhone.
#1 A control panel like that of Android on iPhone
You call up the control panels of both iPhone and Android by swiping down from the top edge of the screen, after which you can set up the wi-fi or turn on a flashlight, among other things.
On Android phones, on the other hand, you can customize it more than you can on Apple phones. Extensive customization options would allow users to remove the features they don’t use so they don’t take up any screen space.
#2 Group notifications on your Apple device
Notifications on your Android devices work quite simply and are also nice and clear. For example, if you switch to iPhone, it can take some getting used to. The notifications are not categorized properly, so your notifications quickly look like a big mess.
Apple can also copy Android in this case, since the notifications are grouped by app there. And watch out for credit card fraud.
#3 All apps on your iPhone a new icon
Android allows a lot more personalization on their phones than Apple does with the iPhone. Although it is technically possible to adjust the icons of your apps on iOS, it is very cumbersome. On Android you have packages for that that adjust all icons in one fell swoop.

#4 No extra storage, everything goes to Apple iCloud
It’s great that you can access all your photos and videos with iCloud, even from an Apple device other than your iPhone. Still, it is a loss that you cannot expand the memory of the phone itself with a microSD card. This is possible on many Android devices.
#5 A home screen like that of Android
Apple has made quite a few improvements in this over the past few years, but the home screens on Android remain superior. Certainly the use of widgets remains complicated. The order in which you place widgets and apps on your iPhone’s home screen still has many limitations.
