The, on actual events-based, four-part Netflix series The Billion Dollar Code is all about Terravision: the Berlin company Art+COM made 3DD-Carts software that already did almost exactly what Google Earth could only do many years later in the mid-1990s. The focus is on preparations for a lawsuit with Google, which offers the protagonists the opportunity to look back. That produces a compelling window story, full of beautiful images of the rapidly developing Berlin from just after that Wende. Recommended!
