These are the 3 best Sonos speakers to start your set with

The family of Sonos products is quite extensive, and also very popular. Now two new speakers have been added to the group: the Sonos Era 100 and Era 300. Then of course the question arises: which speaker do you actually want?

It is difficult to dispute that the quality of the speakers that Sonos releases is high. And that also paired with an app that is incredibly easy to use and very smooth cohesion if you have several of the speakers at home. Well, Sonos makes very cool speakers, but there are also quite a lot of them. If you’re not quite sure what to expect from the company, we’ve highlighted a few here to help you get started. Just take a look.

The Sonos One speaker

As a relatively cheaper speaker, the Sonos One is a nice entry point if you’re new to the company’s products. Although the speaker comes into its own when paired with another One, the sound is clear and has a deep bass. You can also talk to multiple digital assistants with the Sonos One. Alexa, Apple’s AirPlay and the Google Assistant (although the latter is being pulled from the new models).

Unfortunately, this speaker cannot be operated with Bluetooth. Furthermore, the Sonos One is a good choice if you are looking for clear sound, even with only one of the speakers in your living room. Oh, and it costs 229 euros. Also useful to know. The big question is how long it will be available, because its successor is already lurking in the background: the Era 100. You can connect it with Bluetooth.

The Sonos Five speakers

As one of the most popular speakers in the catalogue, the Sonos Five is a fantastic option for your living room. With a strong price tag of no less than 649 euros, you naturally hope for a bit of good quality, and you will get that. The stereo sound that comes from this stand-alone box is crystal clear and the bass thumps through your bones (you should check if you combine it with, for example, the One).

Bluetooth capability may be lacking, but the Five does have the option to be connected to a record or CD player thanks to the 3.5mm port. If you are willing to invest (considerably) in good sound, the Sonos Five may be the speaker for you.

The Ray sound bar

As the cheapest soundbar from Sonos (although you still pay 299 euros for it), the Ray is an excellent addition to your sound system. This speaker is ideal for under your television and because of the lower price it is also easier to combine with other Sonos products. Once connected to the TV, you can simply use the remote control for volume control and enjoy the wonderful sound.

As soon as you turn off the television, the soundbar again functions as a hub where you can listen to music via Wi-Fi.
