Every day we do a tour of the internet for you to find the best apps from the App Store for your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. Today OMT editor Jeroen Kraak presents you with the ideal weather forecast. Meet Waterllama for iPhone.

It sounds so simple: drink enough water in a day. Yet we often do not get around to drinking the amount that is recommended to us. With Waterllama that is no longer a problem. This colorful app from Ukraine encourages you to drink enough.

Whatever happens: always keep drinking

It sounds so obvious that we should drink enough water every day. Yet we don’t always do it, because we don’t pay attention to it or because it’s an awful lot. Fortunately, there is an app that will help you. Waterllama makes you drink enough in a colorful and fun way.

A healthy adult needs 35 milliliters of water per day. That doesn’t sound much, but if you weigh 80 kilos, it means that you need about 2.8 liters. That is quite a lot, but it does help you to reduce stress, increase your productivity and perhaps not unimportantly: drinking water helps you lose weight.

Of course, an app that only tells you to drink quickly starts to get boring. That is why Waterllama provides a number of fun challenges. With this you can collect different special characters. Colorful llamas: you want that, don’t you?

A regular and premium version on your iPhone

If you use the premium version of the app, you must indicate what exactly you drink. Each drink has its own color, giving you a colorful whole. In addition, it also gives a great insight into what you put in your body. It also helps to encourage you to drink less alcohol or caffeine, for example.
