A new App Store Pearl!

Every day we scour the internet to find the best apps from the App Store for your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. Today OMT editor Dunke van Boekel has Shortify ready for you.
Sometimes you see an article or YouTube video passing by that is just a bit too long for you. In such cases, Shortify can come in handy. The App Store Pearl makes a summary for you to read in seconds.
Shortify sums it all up by sharing on your iPhone
Every now and then we get an article or a video on YouTube that we simply don’t have time for. Or you just want to see if this recommendation is worth it. Shortify understands that and therefore makes summaries of all texts that you can share on your iPhone.
By clicking the ‘share’ button on a website or YouTube video you can also select the App Store Pearl. The iPhone app then gets to work converting all the important points into a short summary. In it there are two types: Short and Shorter. The App Store Pearl therefore works with articles and PDFs, but also YouTube videos.
You can then also share these Shorts from the App Store Pearl. Handy if, for example, you already want to forward a summary of an article to someone. It is also possible in the iPhone app to see how much time you have saved in total by reading these summaries.

Shorts for sale in the App Store
Unfortunately, you will really have to put down a few bucks for long-term use of Shortify. You get 100 free summaries when you download the App Store Pearl, but you’ll need to purchase more separately afterwards.
This is not a subscription. For ten Shorts you pay one euro, five euros for one hundred Shorts, ten euros for one thousand and if you really don’t feel like reading a lot, fifty euros for ten thousand articles.
Does this sound completely perfect to you? Then the iPhone app Shortify can now be fished in via the App Store.
