Sometimes it’s nice to look forward to something: a birthday, a reunion or even a simple date. That is exactly what the makers of Up Ahead are responding to.

Through the app you can create events and start counting down. The whole takes place in a colorful environment. This way you can give each event its own color. All events are shown on the main window, so you can see at a glance what to expect. You can also record the events on your home screen, so you always have them in view. If you don’t want to miss anything at all, you can add the event to the lock screen. In addition, an overview of all events can be shown in a row with the corresponding number of ‘count back days’ on each line.
As in certain games, you can ‘unlock’ features in this app (unlock). If you have created more events, more patterns will become available. This allows you to design an event.
The app offers quite a few customization options. You can choose your own icon for each event, but even choose one of the 17 app icons for the app. If desired, the app backs up the events and saves them to your iCloud account, making them quickly available again in the event of a reinstallation.
