Argylle is coming to Apple TV+.

Apple TV+ is already packed with a lot of great content, but there’s a lot more to come. OMT editor Jeroen Kraak tells you which 7 new titles he is most looking forward to.
Apple TV+ is one of my favorite streaming services. Simple reason: it puts quality way above quantity. The company does not mind spending a lot of money on new titles. But which seven should you already write down in your agenda?
7 movies and series coming to Apple TV+
Apple TV+ makes both movies and series. These seven are as far as I’m concerned the currants from the future porridge.
Napoleon
Napoleon is one of the most famous figures in history. It is therefore not surprising that Apple TV + wants to make a spectacular film about him. We see his brilliant strategic brain and his relentless ambition.
In Joaquin Phoenix, Apple has found the joker to make this project a success. He therefore crawls into the skin of the Frenchman. The film will hit theaters and Apple TV+ this fall.
Killers of the Flower Moon
This is the movie that has been buzzing around since the beginning of Apple TV+. I’m talking about Killers of the Flower Moon, which is directed by Martin Scorsese. The production has a true star cast including Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone.
Killers of the Flower Moon is a mix of western and crime. When oil is discovered underground by Native Americans, white men with evil intentions pounce on it to enrich themselves. This leads to murder and manipulation. We wouldn’t be surprised if this film competes for the Oscars.
Argyll
Speaking of a star cast, that is also the case with Argylle. This movie stars Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Apple TV + does not want to say much about the plot yet. The only thing the streaming service wants to say is that we are in Argyll follow an eponymous spy who travels the world for his job. From London and New York to exotic orders. The film should be released sometime in 2023.
The Crowded Room
Of course, we mainly know Tom Holland as Spider-Man, but he has proven that the actor is very versatile in Apple TV+’s Cherry, among other things. Soon he will be back on the streaming service with The Crowded Room.
Yes, this is totally different than Spider Man. In this ten-part series he plays a man who is arrested in 1979 after a shooting in New York. During the interrogations we see his special history.
Masters of the Air on Apple TV+
This series is just like that Killers of the Flower Moon been around since the inception of the streaming service. But unlike the aforementioned movie, this series still doesn’t have a release date. However, it still seems to be released in 2023.
This project by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks focuses on bomber pilots during World War II. So this is a successor to Band of Brothers. The special thing about this project is that this will be the first show that is actually made by an Apple studio.
Hijack
Earlier in this list there was attention for Spider-Man, now Luther is there. Well, Idris Elba. The actor already has a number of fantastic roles to his name and there will be another one this year. And quite quickly, because Hijack will be broadcast on Apple TV+ from June 28.
The series lasts seven hours, which is exactly the time of the entire event. It takes place in a seven-hour flight that is hijacked. Elba plays a negotiator who has to solve the problem. But will he succeed?
Formula 1 and Apple TV+
This movie doesn’t have a name yet, but we already know Apple TV+ is working on it. The lead role is for Brad Pitt in the skin of a Formula 1 driver who returns after his short retirement. Together with a rookie, he takes on the titans of the sport.
The special thing about this title is that Lewis Hamilton is involved as a producer. Brad Pitt will also drive a real Formula 2 car on a circuit for the film. There are already a number of rumors about this, but there is no real clarity about this yet. There is no clarity about a release date yet.
