iPhone faster with these expert tips

Tech expert Komal Fatima tells She Finds that there are a number of common causes when it comes to a slow iPhone. As examples, the expert cites insufficient storage space, outdated software, excessive background activity by apps, too many apps installed, an accumulation of temporary files and deteriorating battery capacity.

To make your iPhone faster again, Fatima disables two functions. The first of these is a function that provides motion effects and animations. This makes for a visually appealing home screen, but can significantly affect battery performance.

If you want to disable this function, go to the Institutions from your iPhone and tap Accessibility. Then navigate to Movement and switch Reduce movement in. You will notice that your battery lasts a lot longer.

Don’t forget this setting

Open the Institutions from your iPhone and tap AppStore. Under the cup Automatic downloads can you check the boxes App downloads, App updates and in-app content to expand. This way you prevent your device from automatically downloading without this being necessary.
