Google Maps comes with the new feature Clear routes while you navigate. The function is intended to quickly provide information on where to turn and to better see where to go left or right.

Google Maps is the route navigation system for both young people and the elderly. About 57% of the Dutch population says they use Google Maps. However, there are still some shortcomings, such as that Google Maps does not work in Dutch tunnels (but it does work in foreign tunnels), or that the route directions can occasionally be a bit slow. A new feature was previously announced that should make Google Maps easier to navigate, and that feature has now been given a name.
Clear routes while you navigate
Of Clear routes while you navigate Google Maps users can see an arrow pointing in the direction of their final destination, including an arrival time, immediately after setting the route. When users turn off their phone, this overview can still be seen. It will be possible for users to follow a route without pressing it Start to push. This can be useful for people who want to keep the other options on their home screen of Google Maps and therefore do not want to press start.
