Check availability of Apple services

When Apple announces new features, services and options, there is a chance that they are not immediately available in the Netherlands or Belgium. A good example of this was Apple Pay, it took more than 4 years before it was available in the Netherlands.

Sometimes it can take some time for a particular service or product to be released in the country where you live. This has to do with various factors and regulations. We take the Apple News app and News+ as an example, the service is currently only available in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Apple features not available everywhere

Apple gives consumers access to a lot of features and capabilities with their Apple devices. This includes public transport information in Maps, CarPlay, the News application, Apple Music and more. Unfortunately, it is not self-evident that these functions are available in all countries where an iPhone, iPad or Mac is sold.

Fortunately, Apple offers a clear overview of all services that are not available everywhere. This way you can check whether or not a certain function is available in the country where you live and which providers support certain options.

Apple service is not supported

If you find out through the pages above that a certain option is not supported in the country where you live, there is little you can do about it. We have to wait until Apple rolls out the function in the other countries. The past teaches us that this can unfortunately take some time. Of course you can always send feedback to Apple.
