Share calendar via iPhone, iPad, Mac or iCloud

As an iPhone, iPad or Mac user, you can easily synchronize all your calendar appointments and activities with all your devices thanks to iCloud. Not only can you view your appointments on all your devices, you can also easily share your calendar with others.

This can be useful if, for example, you want to share your work calendar with your colleagues or partner. You can share a calendar in three different ways: via iOS, macOS or even via the iCloud website.

The steps below are suitable for all iCloud users. Calendar sharing should only be set up in one location. So if you share a calendar via iOS, it will also be synchronized with your Mac.

  1. Open the Calendar application
  2. Navigate to ‘Calendars’ at the bottom
  3. Tap the i button next to the calendar
  4. Select ‘Add someone’ under ‘Shared with’
  5. Search for the contact and add it
