The Edge Pro from Swiss Rolling Square is multifunctional and modular in use. It is a MagSafe compatible wireless charger and holder for the iPhone, which can also be equipped with a (wireless) LED lamp. In addition, it is more versatile than its predecessor, the Edge Mount, which was released last year.

The Rolling Square Edge Pro (Full Kit) can best be compared to an iPhone stand that you can attach to your Mac. It is specially designed for people who work from home and have limited space at their disposal. In addition, it can also be useful for people who like their iPhone hanging on the screen of their Mac, for example app and website developers.

The Edge Pro is an aluminum hinge with a loose adhesive strip that you can attach to the back of an iPad, MacBook or iMac. That is perhaps the biggest disadvantage of the Edge Pro, after all you have to stick a plate on the back of your product and it always stays there. Although the Edge Pro is ultra-thin, it remains visible.
It is not possible to quickly remove the adhesive strip and move it. If you want to remove the adhesive strip, you can use the supplied thin iron wire to get behind the plate. Then you have to apply some force to pull off the adhesive plate.
Once you have attached the adhesive strip, you can magnetically stick the Edge Pro to this strip. Because magnets are used, you can easily adjust the position. This way you can use the holder horizontally, vertically or in another direction.
Equipped with MagSafe magnets
The Egde Pro is equipped with ‘MagSafe’ magnets so that you can place an iPhone with MagSafe directly on it. You can also attach other smartphones with Qi2 to the stand and if your iPhone or smartphone does not have a magnetic solution, you can stick the supplied magnetic ring on the device.
When you purchase the Edge Pro Full Kit, you also receive a magnetic wireless charger. You can place this on the stand and then place a MagSafe or Qi2 smartphone on it. The device is then charged thanks to the charging coil.
The charger is equipped with a USB-C cable and can be connected directly to your MacBook or iPad. Please note that this accessory is not MagSafe certified and therefore charges an iPhone with a maximum of 7.5 watts. The maximum capacity of the charger is 15 watts for other devices.
LED lamp for Facetime calls
The Edge Pro full kit also includes an LED lamp that you can attach to it. This LED has a light output of up to 1000 lumens, ideal for highlighting yourself in, for example, a Facetime conversation or recording a video.
The lamp has an on/off button at the top, with which you can also adjust the light intensity in five steps. In addition, the LED lamp is equipped with a rechargeable battery that lasts a maximum of 60 minutes at full strength, after which you can recharge it. If the battery is empty, connect the LED lamp to your Mac using a USB-C cable. You can then use the lamp wired and charge it at the same time.
Multifunctional
The Rolling Square Edge Pro is more than a holder for your Mac. You can also use it separately as an iPhone stand. In addition, the entire item contains magnets so you can attach it to any magnetic surface. For example, hang a magnetic strip in your kitchen to use the Edge Pro here too.
When you use two holders, you can even ‘hang’ an iPad on your Mac, creating a multifunctional workplace with multiple screens. You can see an example in the video below.
Different sets
The Edge Pro is available in different versions. The standard Core set only contains an adhesive strip, magnetic rings for non-magsafe smartphones and of course the aluminum Edge Pro. If you also want the LED light and MagSafe charger, you will have to rely on the Full Kit. In addition, a Tablet Kit is also available that contains two core sets.

Where to buy?
