The iPad is available in different versions. The iPad Pro is mainly intended for professionals and the iPad Air for users who demand just a little more from their tablet. But a great entry-level model is the iPad. If we can believe the rumors, we can expect the iPad 11th generation soon.
The 10th generation iPad was released in 2022, but was reduced in price last spring. It is currently unclear whether Apple will update the entry-level model this year. Unchanged design, new colours
The design of the iPad 11th generation will be the same as the previous model. Then Apple changed the design of the tablet, it is actually an iPad Air in a stripped-down guise. The iPad features a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display in a custom casing with flat sides. The more angular design is reminiscent of the iPad Air and iPad Pro, which also have fewer roundings.

Secured with Touch ID
Just like the previous generation, the iPad 11 contains a fingerprint scanner for Touch ID in the top button. This makes it easy to unlock iPad, make purchases and unlock passwords.
Faster processor
The biggest innovation for the 11th generation iPad will undoubtedly be a faster processor. Instead of an A14 chip, the iPad may receive an A16 or A17 Bionic processor with a Neural engine that makes it possible to perform less complex tasks energy-efficiently. If Apple Intelligence is added, an A17 Pro or A18 chip is necessary.
USB-C with Apple Pencil
You can use the USB-C connection to charge the iPad. In addition to charging, you can also use external screens, hard drives and peripherals on the iPad with this port. At the back we find a smart connector so that you can also use cases and accessories with the iPad.
The iPad will likely retain the Apple Pencil with USB-C support and not switch to the Apple Pencil 2 or Apple Pencil Pro. Availability
It is currently unclear when Apple will unveil the new iPad 11th generation. The company may launch the new iPad in the fall of 2024. There are rumors that an Apple Event may take place in October. However, there is also a chance that the iPad 11 will not be launched until 2025. The current iPad 10th generation is sold from € 439.
