We have recently used the all-rounder sleeve in practice in combination with a 13-inch MacBook Air and 14-inch MacBook Pro. The storage cover retains its shape well. Thanks to the soft interior, you can easily slide the MacBook into the sleeve and take it out again easily.
Although it has no sharp edges, I still think you should be careful with the metal zipper. When you take the MacBook out of the sleeve or put it in, you may hit the zipper, but the MacBook shows no scratches.
The opening is wide enough so that you still have enough room to grip the MacBook and remove it from the sleeve. In addition, the parts of the zipper are rounded and soft, when the zipper is closed the Mac is protected by the thicker inside.
