You can also opt for the movies and series screensavers with scenes from all kinds of memorable Apple TV+ series and movies. For example, you can see beautiful images from the Foundation series, with of course a shortcut to the Apple TV+ page.
Snoopy and Woodstock screen saver
Thanks to tvOS, 18 new screensavers starring Snoopy and Woodstock are added to the existing screensavers under tvOS. They take over your screen in a cute animation and then have to recover in special places such as his doghouse.

Movies and series screen savers
Apple has found a new way to highlight Apple TV+ films and series on an Apple TV in a less disruptive way. From now on, users can set a screensaver for films and series. Here you will find memorable scenes from Apple TV+ productions, such as a trip through the Foundation universe.
Portraits with clock
If you use iCloud Photos, you can also set up the Portraits screen saver for Apple TV. This shows your personal portrait photos with a clock incorporated into them. The time is automatically displayed with depth, creating a dynamic screen saver that changes regularly.

Set screen saver
Starting with tvOS 18, you will find the settings for screensavers in a more prominent place in the Settings app. You can immediately set the screen saver specifications after opening the Settings application. So you no longer have to navigate to the ‘General’ section.
- Open Settings
- Go to ‘Screen saver’
- Under ‘Current selection’, choose a desired screensaver

In addition, you can adjust various settings per screen saver in the screen saver preferences. For example, you can indicate which themes you want to use for bird’s-eye view or which portraits should be hidden during playback.
Quickly switch screen savers
In addition, you can easily and quickly switch between the different screen savers while displaying a screen saver.

Swipe up on the Apple TV Remote while playing a screensaver and easily switch views. This way you can quickly set your desired screensavers for every moment. For example, you can show your portraits when you receive visitors.
