The 65 inch XR70 QLED MINILED 4K Ultra-HD TV is the entry model of a series with also 75 and 85-inch variants. With a brushed metal finish and a modern design, this TV weighs 28.3 kg and measures 144.5 x 83.2 x 5.7 cm. It has adjustable feet and a VESA coupling for wall mounting.
The QLED technology uses Quantum Dots for improved brightness and color spectrum. This Miniled model has 480 dimmable LED groups for optimized background lighting, which improves brightness and contrast. The TV has the Sony XR image processor and MediaTek Pentonic 1000 chipset and supports HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG. Characteristics include a simplified menu, voice control and gaming facilities. Google TV-12 with 32GB storage offers simple operation and a wide range of apps.
There are four HDMI ports, two of which are HDMI 2.1 with support for 120 Hz and VRR. Sound is supplied by four 10W speakers with 3D surround. Connections via Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, AirPlay, HomeKit and Chromecast are available. Two USB ports support recording and display. The remote control has lighting and charges via USB-C. An older remote control and Sony Bravia Connect app are also included.
