Meta AI is the artificial intelligence assistant of Meta who helps users with tasks as to answer questions and generates ideas, and that is trained for this with public data such as your posts, photos and reactions on these platforms.

For the time being it is not yet possible in WhatsApp with Meta AI to generate images yourself. Although Meta AI has functions in other apps for making AI-generated images, these creative image generation options in WhatsApp have not yet been rolled out in the Netherlands and Belgium. Meta AI is an optional service from Meta that uses AI models to generate answers. Meta AI can only read the messages that people explicitly share with the assistant. Meta cannot read other messages in your personal chats, because your conversations remain encrypted. Therefore, do not share sensitive information about others or yourself that you do not want the AI to keep or use it. Turn off Meta AI in WhatsApp
