PC-Active is the largest computer title for consumers in the Benelux and looking for an editorial trainee. Do you want to share your knowledge of the digital world with a large readership and test the latest gadgets? And do you like writing and publishing, both online and in print? Then we are looking for you. Many trainees already preceded you and thought this was the best internship!
During your internship you support the editors of PC-Active and perform tasks for the (web) editors. You support your colleagues when necessary and in consultation, a suitable internship assignment is looked at.
We offer an internship in Haarlem (3 minutes walk from Haarlem station) for 3 to 12 months.
Work
• Following developments in the digital world;
• Writing news items and possibly. (background) items, both online and offline;
• Supporting social media such as Instagram and Facebook;
• Testing gadgets and devices and publishing about this;
• conducting research into backgrounds on current topics;
• Collect information and images for articles;
• Doing research among readers and visitors to PC-Active;
• Helping with marketing and promotion actions for PC-Active.
Desired profile
• Good command of the Dutch language;
• Good communication skills;
• Journalistic approach: curious and critical;
• MBO/HBO/WO (Journalism, Communication, Dutch).

A small but enthusiastic team of professionals at the HCC association agency supports the volunteers and is responsible for the implementation of the established policy, member conservation and recruitment.
PC-Active is the HCC association magazine and provides all members with information and workshops on their digital life 6 times a year.
