KPN network
As a Youfone customer, you use the KPN network in the Netherlands. The speed of a mobile data connection is partly determined by the type of network connection. Through KPN, Youfone uses three data networks: 2G (GPRS/EDGE), 4G (LTE) and 5G. Youfone offers standard 5G (maximum 300 Mbps download and 150 Mbps upload) for SIM Only, Prepaid and telephone subscriptions. The KPN network offers 99% 2G coverage. KPN also has a nationwide network for 4G.
5G at Youfone
All Youfone customers will have access to the 5G network. With standard 5G you have 200 Mbit/s from the provider. Fine for most situations, but it can be even faster. With 5G Extra Fast you get 300 Mbit/s. It is good to know that, just like with the other networks, performance depends on your phone, the coverage in your area and the network congestion.
