iPad Air with OLED screen is not expected until 2027 or later
This year, Apple has equipped the iPad Pro with a brand new OLED screen. Anyone who had hoped that the iPad Air would soon have such a screen will unfortunately be disappointed. An iPad Air with OLED display is not expected until 2028 at the earliest.
This information, reported by The Elec, was shared by Omdia researcher Kang Min-soo during the Korea Display Conference 2024 in Seoul. Min-soo says the iPad Air will have a one-stack OLED configuration and will be comparable to the OLED panels of the iPhone 15.

iPhone Ultra: first foldable smartphone with durable screen without fold line
It is common knowledge that Apple is currently working on their first foldable iPhone, which will most likely be presented this fall. The iPhone Ultra, believed to be the name of this model, could be the world’s first foldable smartphone with a durable, wrinkle-free screen. This means that the fold line will not be visible once the device is opened.
This marks Apple’s entry into the world of foldable smartphones, with a strong emphasis on premium quality. The iPhone Ultra would open like a book, making it about the size of an iPad mini when fully unfolded. When folded, the iPhone will take on a more square shape than current models.
