Did you know that since iOS 26, the Reminders app works together with the Phone app? If you miss a call or can’t answer it for a while, you can easily set a reminder to call back. So your iPhone helps you to remember to call back at the right time.
This feature is easy to use in the calling screen and fits well with Apple’s idea of smart automation. Each reminder to call back will automatically appear in the Reminders app, with the contact’s name and any additional information. Perfect for those who want to keep an overview of missed calls and do not want to forget important contacts.
Callback reminder for phone calls
The Reminders app has received improved integration into the Phone app. From now on you can easily set a callback reminder for (missed) telephone calls. This is automatically added to the Reminders app, so you don’t forget to call anyone.
- Open the Phone app
- Go to the ‘Calls’ tab
- Swipe from right to left on an item in the list
- Choose ‘Reminder’
- Choose a desired callback reminder
The reminder to call back is then placed at the top of the list. You will also find the relevant callback reminder in the Reminders app.
