Your iPhone is increasingly replacing other utensils, such as your agenda, your notebook, but also books. You will find that reading longer pieces of text on your narrow iPhone screen is tiring. Fortunately, you can tilt the screen of your iPhone!
Tilt the screen of your iPhone, this is how you do that
Tilting the screen of your iPhone is as easy as it sounds: turn your iPhone a quarter turn, and the screen will rotate, both to the left and to the right. However, once you have tilted the screen, you cannot tilt it any further. If you turn your iPhone upside down, the screen will not rotate any further: the maximum rotation in both directions is 90 degrees.

Tilting back is still possible, of course, by holding your iPhone upright again. However, there are times when you don’t want the screen to tilt – like when you’re in bed with your iPhone. To prevent that, swipe the control panel down and tap the padlock.
If you tilt your phone now, the screen will remain upright. Good to know: this function does not work the other way around, but that is not necessary either: after all, if you hold the iPhone on its side, the screen will not jump back.
