Some apps require you to specify a language, but most applications use the default language you selected when setting up your iPhone or iPad. This works fine for most people, but there are situations where you want to deviate from this. Fortunately, from iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 it is possible to set a preferred language per app. You do this like this:

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad;
  2. Swipe down until you get to the list of apps;
  3. Choose the app for which you want to change the language, in the example the Agenda;
  4. Tap on ‘Language’ and select the language in which you want to display the app from the list;
  5. Check if it works properly by opening the chosen app.
