Best iOS Games April 2017
There is again plenty to play in the App Store. For example, we welcome a new series from Telltale with a group of fantastic superheroes. Classic Planescape: Torment can now also be played on your iOS device and we have selected three other great games. Read on for our tips from this month.
1. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series
Telltale is back with a new series. After The Walking Dead and Batman, among others, it is time for the next series based on a comic book. This time you will experience adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy. As always, you make the moral choices and you have to react quickly during the action pieces. The characters are not based on the film version of Guardian of the Galaxy, but if you have only seen the films you will recognize them immediately. We are very curious about the upcoming episodes of this series.

2. Planescape: Torment
After Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale, it is time for the next RPG classic in the App Store. Planescape: Torment is mainly notable for its unique world and the story it tells. The game is clearly not made for a touchscreen, but it is a nice way to still get this classic. Be careful though: the game does not have a tutorial. You have to figure out for yourself how everything works.

Charming Runes
In Charming Runes, your goal is to chop away the cubes that slide from top to bottom by throwing pickaxes. You collect more and more pickaxes, so you can chop away more blocks with every throw. It is a surprisingly addictive game, in which you naturally want to get the highest possible score.

4. Tape It Up!
Speaking of high scores: in Tape It Up! you also have to do your best to get high in the rankings. This time by taping as many boxes as possible. You do this by jumping from box to box and not touching the conveyor belt. Because you keep unlocking new characters and encounter special situations, the game stays fresh and fun.

5. Full of Stars
Full of Stars combines two game ideas. First of all, it is a nice game in which you maneuver as a spaceship past meteorites. In addition, there is a considerable story behind it in which you have to make difficult choices. You also have to save as many people as possible while you discover the universe. The different parts seem to be very separate from each other, but nevertheless it is an entertaining game together.
