A minor update has been released for Clips. Still, there is a very welcome improvement for the live subtitle feature.
Clips update lets you adjust subtitles
Apple’s Clips video app has gotten its first update. The most important improvement is that users can edit the ‘Live Title’ texts after a movie has been recorded. By tapping on the text during playback it is possible to change words.
The app needed that, because Clips didn’t always understand what users were saying. The subtitles did not match what was said or crooked sentences were made. If the text is incorrect, you can adjust it yourself from version 1.0.1. Tapping on the text during playback will bring you to a new window. Here you will find the full spoken text as registered by the app.

Small adjustments
Users can then replace the words that are incorrect by typing something else in their place. With lines under the words, the app indicates approximately when they appear on the screen. However, the update is not suitable for adding completely new rules and is mainly useful for minor adjustments.
In addition to adapting the texts, smaller changes have been made. If you share a video with a contact with multiple message addresses, Clips will suggest the most commonly used address. In addition, the update promises stability and reliability improvements in video recording.
Download clips
Clips was released for iOS in early April and is available for free download from the App Store. The app allows users to record and edit short videos to share via chat apps or social media. Users can spice up their videos with music or title cards, among other things. They can be up to an hour long.
